It was too bad that it rained all day, but still there were about 200 great cars that showed up outside. If the weather had been better there would have been double that number.&lt;br /&gt;It was the biggest and best gathering of pre-1962 rods that I have ever been to, and it was right here on the East Coast!&lt;br /&gt;The people running the show really had things well organized and made you feel welcomed. 1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The car was bought in Rhode Island in the very early 1950s, and it was brought back to the new owner’s home in Greenwich Rhode Island. The owner, having money, had the motor and the car built with the best parts available at that time. The motor is believed to have been built in California. The car was built and the motor was installed in the East. The owner used the car until the early 1960s. The owner’s wife became angry over the time and money that he spent on the car, and supposedly threw the car keys into a pond. The car then sat in a barn on their property from around 1961 to 2005.&lt;br /&gt;In 2003, George Dragone went to the owner’s home to look at and buy a Lincoln Touring car. George saw that several other cars were being stored in an old barn on the owner’s property. The old barn had damage to the roof and a section of it had caved in, allowing the rain and elements to do damage to the cars stored there. Covered up in a corner of the barn was the 1932 Ford three window. George asked if it was for sale and was told no, because several Hot Rodders were already after it. George did not give up and made several offers over some time. Finally, in 2005, he was able to buy it and he moved it from the barn where it had sat from 1961-2005. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Dragone Brothers had bought the car for their personal collection. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Their specialized mechanics did the following work to the car:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Flathead Ford engine with Ardun Heads was completely overhauled. Installed new piston rings, con rod bearings and main bearings. Crank polished. New valve guides installed. Head gasket of solid copper installed. Carbs and distributor rebuilt, new electric fuel pump installed, fuel system cleaned. Water pump rebuilt and radiator cleaned and flushed. New clutch and pressure plate installed. New driveshaft universals and driveshaft balanced. New exhaust system and mufflers fabricated as the originals. New brake lines, master cylinder and wheel cylinders. New emergency brake cables. Original shocks and links repaired. Car rewired and converted to 12 volt. Generator rewired to 12 volt. Complete interior redone as original with 1942 Ford striped wool and commercial truck leatherette. Rumble seat reupholstered. Window mouldings and windshields frame plated as original. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The car has the following Original 1950s Hot Rod Mechanical Accessories:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ardun Heads mounted on Ford 59 AB Flathead, 4- 1940s Ford carbs on Ardun intake (2 carb) modified to a 4 Carb Isky Cam.Special distributor built by Aircraft Engineering (in California) plate on distributor. Engine believed to be constructed by C&amp;amp;T Automotive, Sherman Oaks CA, around 1950. Lightened flywheel and stroked crankshaft. Ford gearbox (top shifter) with special gears. Halibrand Quick change rear with open driveshaft. Ford model A rear spring. 1941 Lincoln brakes with backing plates drilled and airscoops added. Stewart Warner gauges with red hooded dash lights. E and J 20 headlights made in the late 1920s early 1930s. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The car was shown by the Dragone Brothers in several North-East shows.
